Here it is. I managed to use my newly given free time to finally finish this epilogue, which took literally 100x longer than I thought it would for a shorty, but here it is. An update on myself

This is yet another update just to show you guys I’m not dead, albeit the epilogue has been in limbo for an unacceptable amount of time. It seems in the coming months I’ll be hopefully having a normal life again after nearly 7 straight months of a ball-busting work schedule. I promise I haven’t given up, and after all these years I hope I’ve proven to you that I do eventually get work done, haha.

Also, again a reminder that my new email is SgtRanma@gmail.com, my Yahoo! email account is now defunct.

I’ve also added a cool little thing for you guys in case you want to drop me a line, a comment, or an opinion in person. I have a Google Voice account which has a cool feature where I can add a call widget. I have one permanently set in the “Report a Crime” (my version of the contact page) page, but I’ll add it here too. All you do is type in a phone number where Google Voice will call you and once you pick up it’ll connect to an automated voicemail which will be sent to me. Give it a try, I’m curious to see if anyone will gimme a call.

Hey guys. For those of you who still visit and have left me feedback for my fics, thank you. I’ve been literally bombarded for the past 5+ weeks (with no end in sight) being placed at a new post for work and have been pumping out 70-80 hour work weeks on a new work schedule that has left me with almost no time to myself and my personal life, let alone maintain and update my stories. For those of you in the know, I’ve been working a desk job in the recent months, hence my rapid progress with some of the last few chapters. I’m now back in the breach, out of the desk, and earning my pay I guess you could say, once again.

Officer Saotome’s epilogue is currently in limbo, the corrections I need to post up for chapter 9 are left undone, and I haven’t even thought about completing all the stuff I wanted to do for this site.

This post is just a heads up to let those of you who care know that I’m not dead, I WILL finish my stories, continue to work on my stories, and do everything else I’ve set out to do. Long time readers of mine and people I’ve associated with know… I just get stuck with some long delays ^_^;;.

A Ranma/Tenchi Muyo crossover pairing up Ranma Saotome and Kiyone Makibi. Ranma has gone through a tough life 9 years after Jusendo, and the events of his life have led him to be a police officer in Los Angeles after enduring through various misfortunes and hardships in his life. Older, jaded, and tired, a new opportunity comes along to take him back home. He’s given a chance at redeeming a life he left behind.

This is my first and longest running fic that I started in early 2001, my foray into writing after a year into discovering Ranma fanfiction during the golden era of the genre.

Officer Saotome is an ongoing project for me. One that has suffered many delays, several rewrites, but always with my 100% effort, passion, and enthusiasm. A continuation fic that takes place after the end of Volume 38 of the manga (the end of the Ranma canon), it is a story themed around realism and flirts with topics suited to older, mature audiences.

As always, I would appreciate any comments and feedback to all of my stories. Anything at all, whether it is a long rant, a critique, a flame, a question, or even tiny gripes, are all appreciated and welcomed. I would like to thank you all for taking the time to come to my site and read my stories.

All chapters are in easy to use and read .txt format.

Chapter 1: Meet Officer Ranma

Sergeant Ranma Saotome has gone some tough things in the past nine years after Jusendo, things are about to change when he gets a job offer in Japan, after over 9 years away from home.

Chapter 2: First Encounter

Okayama Detective Seargent Kiyone Makibi is living a better and peaceful life after the defeat of Kagato, however someone new comes along to make life a little more interesting again.

Chapter 3: Meet the Family

Ranma goes visit the Masaki household, and gets acquaintanted with look-a-like movie props and a trip to the lake.

Chapter 4: Crime Spree

Akane, Ryoga, and Nabiki investigate Ranma’s grim past, they find shocking material in the folder they found. Also, Ranma gets involved in a big case involving drugs, murder, and a possible organized crime family.

Chapter 5: What Goes Around, Comes Around

After a string of brutal crimes occur in Japan, Ranma and Kiyone go out in the field for some heavy investigation. It’s time for the criminals themselves to watch out. As they say, “What goes around, comes around.”

Chapter 6: Check Six

Complications and new developments are nothing new to Ranma, but how he will deal with it in his new surroundings will prove to be a morally challenging and mentally tasking obstacle for the hardened officer. Finally dealing with what he had avoided for years, Ranma must absorb all that is new and old around him while watching his back.

Chapter 7: Sins of the Sisterhood

Hot on the trail after a disastrous raid, Ranma gets deeper into picking up the clues of his assignment. A casual outing turns far more personal than he expected, and another secret is revealed by accident. A chain reaction of epiphanies starts for Ranma, a sign of the trouble to come.

Chapter 8: Reciprocity

Faced with a truth that’s difficult to swallow, Ranma finds himself in a cruel fate that was out of his control before he even knew what had happened. Elsewhere, a relationship gone wrong brings about an unkind reaction to one of Nerima’s daughters.

Chapter 9: The Return of Dawn
